!Note! 'Will' on its own is not used for things we have arranged or decided to do.

"Will" is usually used in these situations:-

Volunteering Sukarela nak buat to do something:(The phone is ringing). I'll answer it. Telefon berdering, jadi saya akan tolong jawabkan
Promising Janji  to do something:
(A friend is leaving) I'll visit you in the summer. Saya akan melawat awak musim panas nanti
Deciding Buat keputusan to do something :
(Your car won't start) I'll buy a new car. (Kereta anda tidak boleh dihidupkan) saya akan beli kereta baharu
Ordering Mengarah someone to do something:
(Your child won't do their homework) You'll do your homework now! (Anak anda tidak mahu buat kerja rumah) Awak akan buat kerja rumah sekarang! 
Predicting Jangkaan sesuatu akan berlaku  something will happen
(Winter is coming) I think it will be a cold winter. (Musim sejuk akan tiba) Saya jangkakan musim sejuk ini akan lebih sejuk. 

Sometimes you can use 'will' as a threat.

!Note! 'Will' is often used with think - "I think I will ..."

In British English 'Shall' is often used instead of will in the first person (I/we).

'Shall' is also often used in the first person (I/we) in questions when asking for permission minta izin, making suggestions bagi cadangan, making an offer buat tawarkan or asking for advice beri nasihat. Dalam kata lain, Shall ni untuk menyuruh tanpa paksaan.
